One of the smallest but most serious classed growths in Saint-Julien, Château Saint-Pierre’s 2022 vintage is a standout. It leads with ripe cassis and blackberry, edged by cedar, pencil lead and a flicker of spice. There’s great tension between fruit and structure here – firm tannins, crisp acidity and a long, mineral-laced finish. Traditional claret lovers, take note: this is one to cellar.
