Flavour Profile
For fans of crisp, pale rosé wines from Provence, Château Carrubier La Londe Les Maures is a must-try.
Château Carrubier lies in La Londe Les Maures, a highly prized, coastal area of Provence, famous for its exceptional Cru Classé rosés. Usually, these come with a hefty price tag, but this one comes from a small, family-owned estate, bought before the region became such hot property.
Since 1974, the family have been producing elegant wines that capture the crisp fruit and seasalt minerality this region is famous for. Most of their wines are snapped up by locals and rarely make it to the UK, so we’re thrilled to get our hands on this hidden gem.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and a splash of Sémillon, it offers floral aromas, followed by juicy grapefruit, red berries, aromatic herbs and a delightfully salty edge. Enjoy it chilled with shellfish, lemon and herb chicken or tangy summer salads.
