The Wine
Dom Pérignon has been Moët et Chandon’s most luxurious cuvée since its inaugural 1921 vintage and is frequently first choice of the rich and famous the world over. The remarkable 2013 vintage is stunning and already drinking well, but will certainly improve with time in the cellar. Dom Pérignon was a 17th century monk at the abbey in Hautvillers, and his ambition was to make “the best wine in the world”. Hugh Johnson dubbed him the wine world’s ‘first perfectionist’. Fitting then that this should be made from the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and only released after a decade in the cellar. Cooked apple and lemon are followed by a long, spicy finish. A wine of extraordinary complexity and finesse, that'll make unsurpassed drinking.

So sleek and sophisticated. Elegant. Long and powerful, with a sharp minerality. Tight and precise
