The Wine
Founded in 1989 by ex-RAF fighter pilot Bob Lindo and his wife, Annie, Camel Valley vineyard lies on steep, sun-blessed slopes in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Today, second generation winemaker Sam Lindo is at the helm and has continued guiding the family to great success, winning a multitude of awards including World’s Best Sparkling Rosé at the International Wine Challenge. In 2018 Camel Valley became the first English wine producer to be granted a royal warrant and is regularly served at royal functions. This traditional method, Chardonnay-dominated sparkling wine has spent up to 24 months on its lees, resulting in a beautiful toasty character that complements the bright citrus and nectarine fruit to perfection. Elegant.
"Fresh and pinging with a joyful sense of celebration. Magnificently vibrant and alive with fruit'."
Olly Smith
Fabulous English fizz from Cornwall. “Magnificently vibrant and alive with fruit”, critic Olly Smith
