The Wine
Bassist in top Britpop band Blur, Alex James had a passion for food and wanted to make a difference. He moved to a farmhouse in the Cotswolds and began to make artisan cheeses. Then he turned his hand to delicious local brews like Britpop cider, a great English sparkling wine and now this terrific Elderflower Spritz, using those iconic white blossoms of British hedgerows. It’s made from the finest ingredients – elderflower heads handpicked in Wales and Champagne yeast for the secondary fermentation, all vinified dry and released at a gentle 6% abv. Chill down a bottle, probably two, invite friends round – this delicious Spritz just shouts garden and party!
"Fragrant, crisp – delicious and different refreshment"
