From Antinori’s famed Castello della Sala – home of the iconic (and pricey) Cervaro – comes this superb second wine. Crafted from younger vines and aged in oak, it offers Grand Cru care and richness at a far more approachable price.

The Wine
Over 26 generations, the Antinori family has built a reputation for crafting some of the world’s finest wines. Today, Marchese Piero Antinori – the pioneer of the Super Tuscan movement – continues that legacy, bringing the same vision to Umbria. His father bought Castello della Sala in 1940, turning the family’s focus to white winemaking. The first vintage of the great Cervaro came in 1985, followed by Bramìto in 1994. Made from younger Chardonnay vines, part of the juice is barrel-fermented with malolactic to create a creamy, luxurious texture. Crafted by Italy’s renowned winemaker Renzo Cotarella, this is a superbly elegant white wine.
