Wind back 50 years and cream sherry was just sweet. Now just taste this absolute beauty. It's a knockout glass of richness, complexity and sweetness, undercut by savoury notes and freshness. And the flavours just go on and on. It's from the very talented team at Barbadillo - a family bodega founded in 1821 and with many top awards. In 2015 it was named ‘Best Winery of the Year’ by Guía Peñín and its Solear Manzanilla was awarded ‘Best Manzanilla in the World’. Seventh generation, the company is still one of the most innovative in the wine world. And it's little wonder this sherry is so good – it comprises the bodega's finest richly nutty, dry Oloroso, sweetened by Pedro Ximinez, all aged for 7 years in solera. Reserve some time to savour.
