Launched in 2013 with Times readers in mind, this is a wonderfully aromatic London Dry Gin. It uses a wide array of botanicals, with the emphasis on bright citrus notes of orange, lemon and pomelo, plus lots of liquorice, cinnamon and orris spice.
"A fantastic blend with a unique taste"
John Witherow Editor of The Times
The surge in small, handcrafted gin distilleries shows no signs of abating. Luckily for gin fans, this means a plethora of wonderfully aromatic, lovingly-created gins to choose from. Like this London Dry Gin from The Times. It’s crafted from juniper at its base, with the addition of 16 other botanicals – you may well be able to pick them out in the aroma. They include coriander, orris and liquorice root, angelica, cassia bark, cinnamon, dried lemon and dried orange peel, plus the fresh zest of lemon, orange, lime, white and pink grapefruits, clementine and pomelo, all cold distilled. Each wax sealed bottle is individually numbered with a label featuring the Times Lion resting on juniper branches. Ideal for G&T or cocktails.
