The Wine
England has fast gained a reputation for outstanding sparkling wines. With two IWC Trophies and a Gold, this beauty is a huge thumbs up for its reds too. What's more, it's pure Pinot Meunier, which never appears as a single variety, only part of a sparkling blend. That is until now! In The Red Miller, it shines with gorgeous ripe berry fruits and silky tannins. It's part of the special Winemaker Collection from Kent's Hush Heath Estate and the label is from great British artist Kevin Coventry. It celebrates England's superb 2018 vintage and the winemaking skills of Owen Elias. Briefly aged in French and US oak, the gentle spice and vanilla tones blend seamlessly with the ripe fruit. A dream on its own, with chicken or mushroom risotto.
"What an amazing English red wine in so many ways. Two Trophies, a Gold and pure Meunier. Ravishing"
