There’s an increasing thirst for the wines of Australia – and not just from the UK (we ourselves have 100,000 customers after them) – demand from China is rising at an exponential rate. So getting our hands on good value, great tasting wines with class and character is becoming increasingly challenging. That’s where our Aussie-born scout comes in – Michael, nicknamed Mr Anderson (a reference to the Matrix movies). And with outback wineries flung far and wide it’s ideal to have a Kombi to hole up in. Made from a deliciously eclectic, Italian themed trio of grapes – Pinot Grigio, Vermentino and Fiano – it is bright, ripe and fruity. A joyful glass to serve on its own, with chicken pie, noodles and prawns or anything you like. No rules here!
