To achieve the 5-Red-Star award is like receiving the Golden Ticket for Aussie wineries. Highly sought after and rarely given. It’s bestowed by the renowned James Halliday Companion, founded by the eponymous critic, and signifies a winery that produces consistently excellent wines. So you can expect great things from this great Chardie. The wine was in fact originally destined for China, but due to imposed tariffs and a cancelled order, it needed a new home. When our buyer got wind of this, he snapped it up - a limited parcel of this top-shelf wine for a special price. While the winery's name is under lock and key, we don’t think you’ll mind when you taste what’s in the bottle. Wild fermented and lees aged it’s a wine with big personality.
