The owners are the aforementioned Anne- Laurence, the winemaker, and Matthieu Chadronnier, incidentally also the president of leading fine wine merchant CVGB. Made from pure Merlot, it shows ripe cherry and cassis with complex layers of roasted coffee, spice, and fine tannins. A wonderful expression of Bordeaux’s most-grown grape. Open early and decant or cellar awhile.
