This elegant, mineral Chablis is crafted at the Marchive family’s celebrated winery, Domaine des Malandes.
Since 2017, Lyne Marchive has passed over the running of this long-standing favourite domaine to her children Richard and Amadine. Alongside them is winemaker Guénolé Breteaudeau, who grew up in the Loire Valley, itself a hotbed of the purest, linear-fresh French whites.
Together they produce absolute classic Chablis, full of the seashell and mineral character that devotees search for, alongside green apple and intense lemon elegance. This is a white wine that will pair wonderfully with fresh oysters, roast chicken or soft cheeses.
