Making Waves Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2019

Western Cape

Sauvignon-Semillon is a heavenly match, especially in the hands of SA's Ben Jordaan. He's been making waves not only with his fabulous wines, but also his clean-up the ocean project this wine is part of. Enjoy its grassy fresh fruit for both reasons.

This is a dazzling fresh gem from South Africa's Ben Jordaan. He's been making waves with his beautifully honed wines at the Journey's End cellar for a few years now. Now he's making waves with a new project - cleaning up the ocean. He says, “As Cape winemakers we need the sea (and not just for surfing after work). Its cool breezes blow through the vines and lock in the freshness. That’s where we get all the crisp, refreshing citrus flavour. So here at the winery we’re helping to clean up the oceans and save marine life, assisted by people like you enjoying our wine. So, from all of us, thank you and enjoy every sip.” We think it makes the wine taste even better. Chill and serve solo or with spicy Asian stir fry or marinaded chicken kebabs.
