Flavour Profile
Compendium is a blend of seven lieux-dits from Saint-Aubin, made by Joseph Colin, a talented winemaker who learnt his craft from his father, Marc Colin, one of Burgundy’s most highly respected growers.
2024 was the 8th vintage produced under his own name. In this time, his wines have become some of the most sought-after Burgundies we offer. The domaine specialises in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, featuring 21 appellations, including a wealth of Premiers Crus. In 2024, we were blown away again by the quality of his wines. These are among the most pure, fine and terroir transparent whites in the Côte de Beaune.
On the nose, expect aromas of lemon zest, white blossom and subtle orchard fruit. The palate delivers bright citrus and minerality leading to a lingering finish. It's drinking beautifully now.
