- Laithwaites Partners With Deliveroo
FROM PIZZA TO PINOT: LAITHWAITES PARTNERS WITH DELIVEROO
[September 22nd, 2025]
Leading online retailer and family wine merchant, Laithwaites, has announced a new partnership with Deliveroo – bringing a carefully curated selection of their wines to customers on-demand.
Deliveroo customers in London, Bristol, Manchester, Brighton and Cambridge can now get their hands on expertly chosen wines without leaving the sofa. The new partnership brings 60 Laithwaites wines to Deliveroo HOP, each one chosen by Laithwaites’ expert buying team for exceptional quality and value. There’s something for every occasion – from weeknight pours to weekend indulgences – with bottles covering a range of styles and prices.
Among the highlights are The Black Stump, Laithwaites’ all-time bestselling red wine, Château La Clarière, the passion-project French red of founder Tony Laithwaite, and Il Papavero, the much-loved Italian gem that holds the crown as the most re-ordered wine in their range.
The move reflects how more people enjoy wine today: individual high-quality bottles bought for last-minute plans or spontaneous gatherings. And with Deliveroo’s speedy service, customers can now add great wine to their evening as quickly as they can order their favourite takeaway.
But this is only the start. As the partnership evolves, Deliveroo and Laithwaites plan to introduce food and wine pairing guidance for an even more holistic experience. The aim? To bring the ease and luxury of a sommelier service to your living room. Whether it’s pizza or pad thai, customers will be able to match their meal with the perfect bottle at a click.
For Deliveroo, partnering with a trusted wine merchant adds extra depth to its expanding offering, giving customers confidence they’re ordering no-risk bottles that have been properly tried and tested – from iconic wineries to off-the-beaten-track discoveries.
For Laithwaites, the collaboration is another step in its long history of making wine more accessible. From delivering cases to people’s doors in the 1970s to now appearing on Deliveroo, the mission has always been the same – to share great wine with as many people as possible.
Nick Taylor, MD, Partnerships & Business Development at Laithwaites, said: “Laithwaites is delighted to partner with Deliveroo to make our carefully curated range of wines even more accessible through its platform. At Laithwaites, every bottle is handpicked by our team of experts, ensuring our customers enjoy exceptional quality and exciting discoveries from both iconic vineyards and off-the-beaten-path gems. This collaboration not only brings a world of wine direct to your doorstep in moments, but also opens up an exciting opportunity to introduce Laithwaites wines to a different audience searching for both rapid convenience and new wine experiences.”
Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: “Our new partnership with Laithwaites, a leader in the world of wine, is a great example of how Deliveroo is expanding our on demand offering with best in class brands. By integrating Laithwaites' curated selection of wines, we're not only providing customers with access to incredible products on-demand, but we’re also helping Laithwaites connect with a new generation of customers who value high quality and convenience.”
All orders will be powered by Deliveroo HOP with Morrisons, designed for rapid delivery. This integration allows Laithwaites to extend its operational hours through quick commerce, providing customers with a fast and convenient way to get high-quality wines on demand.

The Laithwaites wine team tastes over 40,000 wines a year before selecting the best buys for customers. Laithwaites offers around 1,500 wines from 22 countries, ranging in price from £5.99 up to £1,200 a bottle and all covered by a 100% guarantee of enjoyment.
