Charles Tyrwhitt and Laithwaites Wine announce a new partnership

The new collaboration blends occasion dressing with summer entertaining, launching this June.

Launching 18th June, menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt and Laithwaites Wine will come together for a collaboration that centres around the natural crossover between occasion dressing and summer entertaining, bringing together Charles Tyrwhitt’s warm-weather tailoring with Laithwaites’ celebratory wine offering.

The Competition

Timed to coincide with the summer events season, the brands’ first collaboration is centered around occasions, offering one winner the chance to receive a curated seasonal prize package featuring Charles Tyrwhitt linen wardrobe upgrades alongside a selection of wines from Laithwaites. The prize includes an appointment to get two full linen looks, including a personal fitting and styling experience and twenty-four bottles of a selection of Laithwaites summer favourites. Runners up can be in with the chance to win their limited edition ‘Case of good taste’ boxes.  

Dress Well, Drink Well Style Guide

Charles Tyrwhitt and Laithwaites will also collaborate on a curated summer linen edit, bringing together the art of dressing and drinking well this season. Combining Laithwaites’ expertise in wine profiling with Charles Tyrwhitt’s warm-weather tailoring, the edit will pair standout linen styles with complementary seasonal wines - creating the ultimate guide to summer entertaining, from relaxed lunches in crisp whites and rosés to sunset evenings accompanied by richer reds.  

Looks include a Garden Party fit - think a relaxed cotton linen shirt with short sleeve, paired with the delicious Kew Series by Laithwaites Sparkling Blanc de Cabernet finished with cotton linen shorts and a summer slip-on. 

A City Rooftop style such as a sharp but breathable jacquard shirt with non-iron wicking ultimate chinos on the bottom, best worn with a chilled glass of Italy’s best kept secret, typically enjoyed in the city streets of Bologna, L’Occhiolino semi sparkling red wine.

There’s also an ultimate Cricket look for this year’s big summer of sport and welcomed visit from New Zealand - a linen with layers for changeable conditions, five pocket trousers are the more casual choice for legs and a merino sweater thrown over the shoulders in case an extra layer is needed. The perfect summer of sport pre drink, celebrate with Hunter’s Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. 

Of course, no summer style guide would be complete without a summer wedding look - with the groom feeling sharp in a sharkskin or luxury Italian suit, white twill shirt and a grenadine silk tie, finished with a  penny loafer in suede, and guests in something a little more casual such as a linen suit for maximum breathability teamed with a lightweight non iron poplin- a clean smooth finish (in white of course) and a linen mix tie to compliment the suit. Served with English Sparkling Wine, Harrow and Hope Sparkling Brut No 9.

As part of the partnership. Charles Tyrwhitt will have exclusive customer discounts and will be supplying award-winning Harrow & Hope Sparkling Brut, grown and made just down the road in Marlow by Henry & Kaye Laithwaite. 

The wine will be made available for appointments in the executive lounge in its flagship store on Jermyn Street to make wedding appointments even more special. Guests can relax in the private space and enjoy a celebratory glass while they shop for this big day.
