Bordeaux-born, Hervé Fabré first arrived in Argentina in the late 1980s, looking for adventure, and fell in love with the country and its old Malbec vineyards.
Since then he has been a pioneer of Argentina’s Malbec and has blazed a trail. Firstly, with wines from his superb Mendoza cellar, then in Patagonia. He’s won many Trophies and other top awards. These include:

Now he’s making his mark in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, in one of only two of the country’s Grand Cru subregions, Gualtallary. There, vineyards are so high up you can almost touch the snowy-topped Andes.
His superb GGG – Gran Grande Gualtallary Malbec – comes from two vineyards in this subregion, one at 1,100 metres altitude, the other at 1,400 metres. A very pure-fruit red, with more than a touch of Bordeaux elegance.
