The Wine
Gavi is a buzz word among lovers of Italian whites, and the citrus crispness of Villa Broglia Gavi is exceptionally fine. Records show the estate’s Piedmont vineyards date from AD 972. Originally called La Meirana, the property was purchased by textile entrepreneur Bruno Broglia in 1972 and fully renovated by some of the finest architects and designers. Bruno’s grandsons Roberto and Fillipo are today in charge. Their Gavi di Gavi is a racy, dry classic, with floral, citrus freshness. Enjoy with antipasti, panfried fish or herby chicken.
