But not one to be easily satisfied, David set his sights on a reserve edition to take 'Stump' to the next level. So he applied his skills to a true Aussie star: quality Shiraz. In particular, Shiraz from South Australia’s Clare Valley and McLaren Vale, where temperatures are a little more clement. And wow did he deliver! Aged in American oak, the wine’s rich blackberry fruit has seductive overtones of mocha and vanilla. Full bodied and smooth, it makes a fine and elegant fireside companion, and matches a warming casserole or roasted red meats.
