Gevrey-Chambertin is one of the star appellations of the Côte de Nuits, where you’ll find a host of “potently flavoured, concentrated, eventually smooth and perfumed” Pinot Noirs (Hugh Johnson). Wine lovers around the world have sought out its wines for centuries and Napoleon himself was said to be a fan!
