Il Poeta is a fresh, characterful white from our Italian grape-growing friend Natale Seghesio. Everything Natale does in his vineyard in Piedmont is meticulous and by hand. The practice of careful selection during harvest is almost a mediative task for Natale, allowing his mind a moment of focus and reflection. It’s often during this period that he will mindfully be composing his poem to immortalise the vintage. An act he does to celebrate every new release. You’ll see this wine’s poem printed on the front label. Enjoy its lively, elegant character that brims with fresh fruits and ripe tropical notes. A brief time in barrel has provided texture and creaminess making it a good companion to roast chicken, sushi or salads or simply solo.
