The Wine
Award-winning Pils, with hoppiness forefront, complemented by floral fruit. A lighter-bodied lager that’s truly refreshing from Hawkstone, a brewery founded by Jeremy Clarkson and Rick Keene. Having put blood, sweat and tears into cultivating his malting barley, the new-to-farming Jeremy was determined it’d be put to good use. So he resolved to look out a good local brewery to turn it into quality beer. The village pub landlord introduced him to Rick and Emma Keene of Cotswold Brewery. They found they shared views on supporting local agriculture, plus, having done a 4-year degree in the process, Rick was an ace brewer. Jeremy was so impressed by the first batch of Hawkstone, he decided to invest in the project. Now they boast a tasty range.
"For lighter bodied Pils lager, this hits the mark spot on. Refreshing"
