The Story Behind the Bottle
Founded in 1835, Gonzalez Byass is one of the top names in Jerez. The family produce an amazing array of fine sherry – from bone-dry Tio Pepe to the richest and sweetest Pedro Ximénez. Less well known are the superb vermouths they now make, reviving a family tradition dating back over a 100 years. The recipe for the La Copa range is based on the original of 1896 and the bottle’s design and label from 1906. La Copa Blanco is an aromatic vermouth created from fine Fino sherry, steeped in a secret blend of botanicals including wormwood, savory, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange peel, sweetened by grape must. Chill down and sip solo. Alternatively, enjoy it poured over ice, mixed with soda or as part of a cocktail.
