The Spirit
Here’s a gorgeous, rich and complex whisky to surprise your whisky-buff friends! It’s a new venture from spirits expert George Koutsakis and whisky aficionado and Formula One racing driver, Jensen Button. Their aim was to showcase the parallels between the worlds of high-end automobiles and of premium whisky – both require great skill and constant fine tuning. They’ve taken spirit from the five main whisky regions of Scotland, blended the batches and aged all of them in barrels formerly used for sherry. No wonder it’s such a rich, complex and deliciously layered dram to savour. It’s won two Golds as well – one for packaging and one for its glorious flavour. A whisky to savour slowly or get creative with the cocktails.
