The estate has been owned by the Sallier family for centuries, but it was in 1982 that François Sallier produced the very first vintage. Today mother and daughter, Adeline and Charlotte Sallier, carry on the tradition with Charlotte looking after the winemaking.
Using prized native varieties, Château de Vauclaire is a beautifully delicate wine, both in colour and fruit. With gentle red berry flavours, savoury notes and a pristine freshness on the finish, it’s the perfect aperitif or partner to light fish dishes and Mediterranean salads.
