The Story Behind the Bottle
One of the oldest (1549) and most highly respected names in the southern Rhône, the Perrin family combine tradition with innovation. Pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture, they were following these practices in the 1950s, long before it was deemed on trend. They use laser sorters in the cellar to ensure only the finest berries go into the vat, with any rejects niftily expelled with a tiny jet of air.
