La Grande Dame is Veuve Clicquot’s finest release – a blend of eight Grands Crus, nearly all Pinot Noir, from a top year, and 2018 was truly exceptional. “The long sunny days and warmth of the 2018 vintage has provided glowing stone and citrus fruit to this glorious Grande Dame … Delectable candied orange rind builds to a crescendo of yuzu and coconut cream” 97pts, Decanter. This Limited Edition has been created in partnership with fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus. Bridging the worlds of couture and Champagne, the gift box is sheathed in “toile du Marais” and the bottle is wrapped in white linen. Inspired by an old cooling method, the reusable white linen can be soaked in water and wrapped around the bottle to maintain its freshness.
