Flavour Profile
Crafted by award-winning winemaker Hervé Sabardeil, Cabalié Blanc is our top-selling southern French white wine. And it’s easy to see why – elegant, expressive and bursting with peach and honeysuckle freshness, it offers glass after glass of drinking pleasure.
Hervé’s mission was to create a white that matched the popularity of its bestselling red sibling. But crafting a wine worthy of the Cabalié name was no easy task. Hervé spent years searching for the finest parcels and testing different grape blends until he found the combination that was just right. For this wine, he settled on old-vine Viognier for intense honeysuckle aromas, Colombard for zesty crispness and a splash of Muscat for fragrant, grapey notes.
Hervé selected top parcels from across southern France’s Languedoc region. Here, long, sunny days and cooling Mediterranean breezes ripen grapes to perfection. Then, he harvested during the night, when it’s cooler, to ensure maximum freshness.
The result? A luscious, refreshing white that bursts with vibrant tropical and stone fruit flavours which lead to a long finish. Pour generously on its own, or enjoy alongside chicken or seafood dishes.
