The Story Behind the Bottle
Bodegas Attis is the mission of the two brothers Robustiano and Baldomero Farina. They were pioneers in bringing the wines of Rías Baixas to the world’s attention. They then fine-tuned their wines to showcase the differences between each vineyard, matching each grape to its best site. That takes precision winemaking. They are also great champions of the region’s rare native grapes like Espadeiro, Sousón, Pedral, Caino and Brancacello. This red is a fabulous blend of the first three, grown in their Atlantic-cooled vineyards within Rías Baixas. A year in seasoned oak barrels brings a touch of toasty spice to the juicy, ripe berry fruit. A great red with charcuterie, tapas and roast meats. Chill it down in summer for a barbecue.
