The Story Behind the Bottle
Margaret River in Western Oz is renowned for its Bordeaux style reds and elegant, crisp Sauvignon and Sauvignon blend whites. This is thanks to a climate cooled by the nearby Indian and Southern Oceans that makes it one of the most temperate regions of Australia. This is an exciting, one-off white from one of the founding families of this area. Twice they’ve been awarded ‘Best Red Wine in the World’ by the renowned IWC competition. Their whites are equally stand-out. Miles from Nowhere, certainly true of this isolated wine region, is pure Sauvignon Blanc, cool fermented to be citrus crisp with tropical hints of guava and kiwi, finishing tightly with stony freshness. Elegant, it’s a fine partner to asparagus, seafood and spicy Thai dishes.
