Veuve Clicquot’s distinctive yellow label has been a guarantee of quality for centuries, and once more this highly respected house has confirmed its stellar reputation with this rich, complex bubbly. No wonder it’s our bestselling big name Champagne!
"Great as always, never fails. Love this Champagne. Crisp, clean and refreshing. One of the best"
Champagne is the pinnacle of refinement amongst sparkling wines, and Veuve Clicquot is one of its most famous exponents. Madame Clicquot took over the estate in 1805 and created the first crystal clear Champagne. She invented the technique of riddling – using a specialised rack to enable yeast to be collected in the neck of the bottle. It was under her guidance that Veuve Clicquot became the substantial and respected Champagne house we know and love today. Veuve’s Yellow Label is a blend of 50 to 60 parcels of cru grapes, up to 45% being Reserve wines in order to maintain the house style we all love. This and the high proportion of Pinots Noir and Meunier accounts for its rich style. A benchmark Champagne – perfect to toast any celebration.

including red, white, rosé, Champagne, Prosecco, spirits ... you name it. Tony's still at it - and now really good
at washing bottles. Read more
