We’ve brought you mineral fresh Moldovan Sauvignon to rival Sancerre and reds to match Bordeaux, but only recently have we returned with such a charming, delicately nuanced rosé. This little known country may be called by some the ‘poor man of Europe’ but it has ideal conditions for growing vines. Moldova was the favourite wine source for the Tsars of Russia! And Moldova has recently attracted considerable foreign investment. Albastrele is a modern wine cellar we’ve been working with for over a decade. Together, we’ve produced a superb range of award winning wines. This, however, is our first Pinot Grigio blush. With lovely pure fruit, crisp lime zip and a classic savoury note, it’s elegant solo and great with chicken, seafood or salads.
