The Story Behind the Bottle
Only founded in 1999, this domaine is a star of Burgundy. Critic Neal Martin wrote, "I’ve lost count the number of times their wines have triumphed in blind tastings". That's in large part due to the family's meticulous approach at every stage - in the vineyard and the cellar. They have superb vineyards throughout Burgundy, all of them certified organic from the outset and now over half managed biodynamically. Put simply, this approach takes organic farming to the next level and the holistic approach helps strengthen the vines. The result is a purer expression in each wine and superb quality in your glass. This fine 2020 comes from 60-year-old vines in two plots – La Justice and adjacent Craite Paille. Silky, yet firm, it will cellar well.
