And last year the story went viral so now you’ve global competition for these hand finished trinkets from a tiny distillery in Edinburgh, staffed a year ago by just nine very busy little elves. Demand is now so high, they’ve taken on additional staff and production for 2017 began in January. You can rest assured, these aren’t merely attractive decorations, the gin they contain is tasty stuff. It’s based on an old family recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Smooth, crisp and flavoursome, serve with a slice of pink grapefruit. And hang out of the cat’s reach.
