The Black Stump Reserve Shiraz 2022

Winemaker Alan Kennett certainly knows how to impress. He's the talent behind 'Black Stump', the No.1 red in our cellars. A regular Gold-medal winner, with nearly 3,000 5-star online reviews, it's a cult classic. But not one to be easily satisfied, Alan set his sights on a reserve edition to take 'Stump' to the next level. So he applied his skills to a true Aussie star: quality Shiraz. In particular, Shiraz from South Australia’s Clare Valley and McLaren Vale, where temperatures are a little more clement. And wow did he deliver! Aged in American oak, the wine’s rich blackberry fruit has seductive overtones of mocha and vanilla. Full bodied and smooth, it makes a fine and elegant fireside companion, and matches casseroles or roasted meats.
