Small batch London Dry Gin from an illicit 100-year-old recipe
When Ian Puddock set about renovating a north London mews, he came across its secret past. A century ago illicit gin was made here. Today the Old Bakery is back in production – legally this time – producing small batch London Dry gin to the recipe of the illicit original. It’s deliciously zesty with notes of juniper and pine. Celebrity fans include wine writers Hugh Johnson and Oz Clarke as well as chefs, media stars and politicians. In the quest to find the perfect matching tonic, Ian settled on award-winning Merchant’s Heart from Japan (he searched far and wide!). This gift bag features a 20cl bottle of Old Bakery Gin and a bottle each of Merchant’s Heart Light Tonic. Gin lovers are in for a very refined treat.
