Spurred on by our partnership of English Cricket, the eagerly awaited cricket match between our Theale Head Office and our Gloucester Office took place, yesterday. Despite the recent ‘changeable’ weather, the teams were blessed with a warm Summer evening.

Theale won the toss and chose to bat, where they started strongly with some big hits from Glenn Caton and Len Sexon and ended on 139-9 off their 20 overs.

Gloucester started badly losing early wickets but some good batting from George Adhere and Mike Lindsey brought them back into the game. Sadly for Gloucester, it wasn’t enough and they finished on 117 off their 20 overs.

Gloucester will be after revenge when the teams face-off in their rematch. We’ll keep you posted.
