The Spirit
Founded in 1842, Glenmorangie distillery is famous for its elegant Highland single malts, and Tale of the Forest is a beautifully expressive addition to their portfolio. Some years ago, while strolling through the woods near his house, Glenmorangie’s Master Distiller - Dr Bill Lunsden – was inspired to bring back an old method used by ancient Highland whisky makers. They resulted in a spirit with rare aromas of pine, juniper and a wisp of smoke. Then aged in ex-bourbon casks to add soft notes of vanilla spice, while letting the forest flavours shine.
