Muscadet’s star-producer, Jéremie Huchet, combines Loire’s zesty, fresh Muscadet grape with vibrantly aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. A great food wine - deliciously crisp with a fabulous mouth-watering quality. Sit, sip, and imagine relaxing by the sea.

The Wine
After taking over his family’s estate, Domaine de la Chauvinière, in 2001, Jérémie Huchet has become a leading figure in today’s Muscadet region. Jérémie hugely respects Muscadet’s long-held traditions and firmly believes that by walking the vineyards, understanding each plot, he can help his vines produce grapes that make even better wines. Fisherman’s Return is a zippy-fresh blend of the Muscadet grape, Melon de Bourgogne, plus dazzling, citrusy Sauvignon from several different plots. To Jérémie, it’s the refreshing style that fisherman might enjoy after a long day, dangling for a catch out to sea. Bursting with grapefruit, blossom, zesty lime with fresh minerality, it’s delicious on its own, and great, too, with seafood and salads.

Beautiful wine, fruity, with a slight tang, very refreshing. Is now my favourite white for anytime
