Bristed Brothers Sauvignon Blanc 2.25 litre Wine Box 2023

The Bristed Brothers are a bit of a legend in Marlborough. For one thing, they planted vineyards way before any one else, so these vines are some of the oldest in the region. They are also, at 70, renowned for some crazy capers. They sail boats down the local Taylor river and sometimes take to the sky in a biplane they built themselves! They've been selling their grapes to a famous cellar for years, but were hugely excited about the proposition of having their own name on the label. In this 2023 vintage, you can expect to be hit with an abundance of gorgeous ripe guava, juicy mango and tangy lime fruit. Chill down well and enjoy a refreshing glassful on its own or partner with a spicy stir fry, haloumi and nectarine salad or a Thai curry.
