The truly stellar 2014 Bordeaux vintage enters its drinking prime
2014 was one of those years where the stars aligned and Bordeaux magic was made. “The finest 2014s are utterly magnificent”, to quote Vinous. It was an especially brilliant vintage for the Left Bank, so that’s what we’ve chosen to celebrate here, with Saint Julien, Pauillac, Margaux and a stunning Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel from Saint-Estèphe all featured. All are now drinking deliciously – perfect foils for the Christmas feast, if that’s not too early to think of! – but will continue to bring pleasure for many vintages yet to come.
