This is deliciously easy-drinking, fresh fruit Merlot from the Errázuriz Ovalle family cellar. With vineyards on Pacific cooled, coastal hills, this red has lovely juicy fruit and modest alcohol. A very tasty plum and cherry red. Great value too.

Wolf Point shows the appealing fruit charms and great value of good quality Chilean wines. It’s not meant to be super weighty or pored over at length, it’s there to be enjoyed any time you’d like a fruity glassful. It is from the Errázuriz Ovalle family estate, founded in the Colchagua Valley in 1992. Their vineyards lie along the coastal hills, the climate of which is warm and sunny during the day and distinctly chilly at night. The result is bright fruit flavours, abundant aroma and moderate alcohol levels. Ideal for enjoying at lunchtime, evening, anytime. Winemaker at the cellar is the experienced Victor Baeza, who aims to make the most of the grapes in the vineyard, so he can simply guide them in the cellar into becoming top wines.
