Germany has always produced some of the world's finest Rieslings, but the dry style today's consumers demand has really taken off in the last decade, as winemakers have perfected the style. The elegant wines are a great match with food, which is why they're adored by the greatest sommeliers and feature on every good restaurant's wine list. This classic dry Riesling from historic Rheinhessen was made by Manuel Brixius at the award winning Nierstein Weingenossenschaft, founded in 1930. The 2015 vintage in Germany was excellent, producing classic, fully ripe Rieslings with brilliant apple, lime and mineral notes - and that's exactly what you have here. Intense and vibrant with real finesse, it's delicious with seafood, or simply enjoy solo.
