In the 1990s, Chile quickly gained a 5-Star reputation for both supple Bordeaux style reds and bright, elegant Sauvignon Blancs. This is one of our latest finds – dazzlingly fresh and bursting with lemony zip. The secret behind that fruit flavour is the Central Valley. Chile's winemaking powerhouse, here the hot summers, cooling down draught and the rivers carrying melted snow from the Andes ensure grapes ripen to perfection. It's especially true of the region's Sauvignon. Sunny days and cold nights are the ideal conditions to bring out the citrus and herbaceous fruit of this grape. Valle Condor pairs beautifully with broad bean and chèvre salad or grilled asparagus with hollandaise. And in this smaller size, it's ready for any occasion.
