Ulysse Cazabonne is a Bordeaux merchant in Margaux, who many of you will know we’ve worked with for years. They have close connections with many top château and source great value wines from famous names. So while this may be labelled a humble ‘Bordeaux’, it’s made by a highly regarded winemaker. Made from 100% Merlot with a portion aged in oak barrels to add complexity, it combines ripe berry fruits with subtle spices and vanilla. The 2014 is already delicious but will continue to drink well for at least another three years.
