Using one of Italy’s most characterful white grapes, Vermentino, this wine has a delicious balance of ripe, creamy pear fruit and limey zip. Steeply sloping vineyards and an ocean cooled climate ensure pinpoint ripeness and refreshing crispness.

Olly Smith (The Daily Mail) describes Vermentino as “a gently aromatic white that can be as scented as lemon blossom and as bracing as the sea breeze”. This grape loves the Mediterranean sun, which is why it thrives in Sicily, where it develops delicious, mouthfilling, ripe, creamy flavours countered by vibrancy and zest. Trazzera comes from high vineyards overlooking the island’s southwest coast. It’s made by Carlo Ferracane at a tip-top local cellar that pools the resources of nearby small growers to make modern, authentic wines. Carefully cool fermented and early bottled, it’s lean, nutty and exceptionally refreshing. This wine makes a delicious apéritif. Alternatively, it’s a top match for creamy sauced white fish or pork with apple.

"Delicious, zesty, vibrant and full of flavour. I will definitely buy this first class white again!" Online Review
