Founded in 1883, Trapiche is one of Argentina’s leading wineries. Its many accolades include twice winning ‘Argentine Wine Producer of the Year’ at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. They are renowned for their annual release of Single Vineyard Malbecs – like the Grands Crus of Argentina – but also do a more everyday priced wine, still with that signature class. Classic Malbec, this red shimmers with ripe plum and violet aromas. It's sourced from vineyards that benefit from the proximity of the Andes. Pure sunshine, a cool-down draught to moderate temperatures and meltwater for irrigation – all help produce a silky, supple, elegant wine. Enjoy the fruit, the freshness and its sheer drinkability solo or with simple suppers.
