More information
A fresh, fruity white from an estate in world renowned Robertson. It’s named after Jacobus de Wet, founder of the property (in 1859) and great great grandfather of current owner Peter de Wet. Jacobus always had a positive attitude – whenever he encountered a setback, he just picked himself up and started again. His biggest hiccup was ostrich feathers – his thriving business in haute couture collapsed due to the advent of cars and streamlined hats. So he and his son swiftly moved from ostriches to breeding horses (another Robertson speciality) and planting vines. Nowadays not only do the de Wets make great wine, but they also support many community projects. An appetising white to enjoy with a smile and chicken dishes or just on its own.
