Seifried Estate have been making wines now for over 40 years and for us for a decade, hence our deliciously fruit intense Anniversary Sauvignon. Pioneers in New Zealand, Nelson in particular, they continue to lead the field and pick up numerous awards. Indeed, in 2014 founders Hermann and Agnes Seifried were honoured with Fellowship of NZ Winegrowers. Their three children are now part of the team, having proved themselves in wine elsewhere. The Seifrieds are a fun energetic family, but serious about quality. Chris is winemaker today, having worked in premium estates in Margaret River, Oregon and the Yarra Valley. Using grapes from their oldest vineyard, this vibrant Sauvignon is bristling with exotic, crisp fruit. Calls for spicy fishcakes.
